Duties:
Performs Computed Tomography imaging procedures.  May provide clerical support to assigned department to include but not limited to maintaining records, answering phones and scheduling appointment.  Adheres to policies, procedures and regulations to ensure compliance and patient safety.

2) Administers contrast media accurately under direction of the Radiologist both manually and with pressure injector.
3) Assists with biopsy and drainage procedures in CT in conjunction with Interventional Department.
4) Provides clerical support to include but not limited to maintaining records, answering phones and scheduling appointments.
5) Maintains credentialing and/or licensure.
6) Participates and attends departmental meetings.
7) Takes ownership of assignments; other duties as assigned or requested.
8) Communicates and listens effectively with internal and external customers; effectively understands instructions and shares knowledge.
9) Cooperates and interacts with supervisors, peers, other departments, and all customer groups demonstrating our commitment to “service”.
Minimum education:  Associates Degree in Radiologic Sciences or equivalent.  Desired education: Bachelor of Science Degree; Formal CT Education.  Technical/Formal Training: CT

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Basic Computer skills; Proficient with pressure injectors;  CT biopsy procedures;  Cross sectional anatomy; Sterile techniques and patient monitoring. Radiation safety.

Experience:  One (1) year experience as a Radiologic Technologist. Desired:  One year experience as a CT Technologist.

Licensure:  ARRT, Radiologic Technologist Certificate issued by State of NM, and CPR.
